YC series motors are single-phase capacitor-starting asynchronous motors. These motors feature starting capacitors that participate during the initial start-up phase. Once the motor reaches speed, the centrifugal switch disconnects the capacitor.

Main Applications: Ideal for air compressors, water pumps, refrigerators, washing machines, medical equipment, woodworking machinery, and various agricultural tools. It utilizes the IC0144 cooling method for continuous long-term operation.

Available in both cast iron and aluminum housings. Aluminum and steel frames are often preferred in European and American markets for their aesthetics, while cast iron is favored in Asia and Africa for its durability; both offer identical performance.
